Circumnavigate Flower Pot Island

The icon of Tobermory, Bruce Peninsula is the unique "flowerpot" shaped rock formation, with it's most shining examples seen on Flower Pot Island's eastern shoreline. To truly appreciate their size and majesty there is no better way than to glide past them in a sea kayak. You will also get a chance to explore some of the hidden treasures of the island like the nearby impressive cave system, rare plant species and enjoy lunch within sight of the islands light station.

This guided trip is only suitable for paddlers experienced with open water paddling and good fitness levels, given the nature of it's offshore route and distance. Please contact us for details if unsure.

Included Lunch Options Thorncrest Outfitters will provide you with a wholesome lunch to enjoy during the trip. If you have allergies or special dietary considerations please inform us when booking. You may choose your choice of deli style sandwich stacked high with either: Ham Turkey Roast Beef Veggie (lettuce, cucumber, tomatoe) Cheese (cheddar, Swiss) Lettuce, tomatoe, cucumber Salt/Pepper We will also supply you with bottled water and a sweet treat.

CONSIDERATIONS: Trips may be cancelled or changed due to hazardous weather conditions. Minimum of 4 participants registered to run. We adhere to a "leave no trace" policy. Intoxicants not permitted.
