What to Bring
Lots of fluids
(water bottles, fruit juice etc) to a total of approximately 2 litres
your favorite snacks
energy bars, trail mix, fruits, etc.
Extra change of clothes
Paddling can get you wet, a spare change of clothes is always advisable for comfort and safety
protect any electronics, food or spare clothing from getting wet
What to Wear
AVOID COTTON CLOTHING!
Weather appropriate clothes that are quick drying. Spray tops/rain jackets offers good general protection.
bathing suit/trunks or similar bottoms that can get wet
Footwear that can get wet
Keens sandals, water shoes, river boots are all good choices
Rain gear and extra layers
You never know what the weather will do and it often feels cooler on the water
Sun hat, sunscreen, bug repellant
